SO FETCH Mean Girls is being screened in cinemas across the UK today for a VERY good reason

IT was a film that gave us countless catchphrases and an penchant for wearing pink on Wednesdays.
And now diehard noughties fans can celebrate Mean Girls Day the right way... by dressing in head-to-toe pink and heading down to their local cinema obvs.
In order to mark the iconic cultural moment when Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day it was in calculus class (3 October, FYI), Showcase cinemas will be screening the classic film in 20 cinemas across the UK today.
From Southampton to Glasgow, Mean Girls fans will be out in full force to celebrate what is without a doubt the highlight of noughties cinemas.
And because Mean Girls Day has fallen on a Wednesday this year, wearing pink isn't just a recommended dress code... it's an absolute must.
Otherwise you can't sit with us. Who are we to argue with Regina's rules?
And just in case you're too busy hanging out with your own girl gang tonight, less devoted Mean Girls fans can also catch the film in cinemas again on 6 October.
So there really is no excuse not to relive the world's most iconic teenage comedy. Amy Poehler's "cool mom" dancing, savage Burn Book and all.
BRB just booking tickets for a Plastics reunion now...
In even more Mean Girls news, remember Gretchen Wieners? See what Regina George's badly-treated friend is up to now.
And you can now channel your inner-Regina George with this retro £9 Mean Girls mug.
Plus for even more nostalgic cinema, the ENTIRE Twilight saga is coming to Netflix this October... and Edward Cullen fans cannot cope.
